The Young Achievers Foundation started life as the Sanctuary Lakes Foundation. Its’ origins are rooted in the early stages of the development of the Sanctuary Lakes Resort. It was envisaged that the Foundation would serve to help to develop young elite golfers within the golf club by providing funding for them.
As time went by the Foundation’s objectives broadened with an increasing focus on junior development. The Foundation began to help those not only in golf but also in other sports and the arts.
Now the Foundation has evolved. We have recently gained Donation Girt Register status and as such hope to be able to help our ever growing group of cadets in not only their chosen field of sport or the arts, but also in their related educational needs for those fields.
We are proud to be involved with these incredibly talented and committed young people and look forward to welcoming more cadets into the Foundation.
To help in the development of youngsters.
To assist the diverse range of talented youngsters in any way we can so they achieve their full potential.
All our board members are respected within the local community and display high levels of integrity in not only their work for the Foundation, but also in their day to day lives.
Our cadets come from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. They are located throughout Melbourne and Victoria. The one thing they all have in common is their commitment and dedication to their chosen field of expertise.
We are proud to be able to help their progress whether they are aiming for State Championships, Nationals, Internationals or Olympic glory. We support qualifying cadets from young through to the age of twenty three.
Each of our Young Achievers are at the top of their game and are winners in their categories. We are happy to be able to help make this possible by providing funding towards their expenses.
We are very fortunate to have a number of major sponsors who make our work possible. Their generous and creative sponsorship allows us to help these amazing young people to achieve their dreams and attain their aspirations.
They do this through fundraising and supporting us at events and with cash donations. We are grateful to each and every one of our sponsors and thanks them unreservedly.
